Savory styles is a fashion styling reality show with a unique approach. The show takes place in a kitchen, where the host and Fashion Chef Sophia Hyacinthe provides outfit inspirations in the form of style recipes. Each recipe is created for the woman that writes an email to Sophia stating her outfit dilemma. The purpose of the show is to teach viewers how build outfits using basic pieces that they may already have in their closets  and how to dress appropriately for every occasion that arises.

Katrina has just graduated at the top of her class from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Although Katrina is extremely happy with her recent accomplishments, she is petrified of entering the real world as she must now apply for jobs in our currently scarce market. Fortunately, Katrina has been able to land interviews with some elite fashion companies. In applying for a job in an uber competitive industry where looks mean just about everything, Katrina is mortified about one thing: what she is going to wear on her interview. Katrina understands the power of dressing and how it is a powerful tool in helping to create a positive and lasting impression. In search of a quick solution, Katrina opens her laptop and composes an email in which she explains her situation and outfit dilemma, also including her sizes. She addresses it to sophia@savorystyles.com and clicks send.

In a spacious, well-lit kitchen stands Sophia Hyacinthe, the Fashion Chef, behind a marble countertop. The lines on her face conveys extreme concentration as she indulges in and reads aloud an email sent to her from a recent college graduate that is in desperate need of an interview outfit.  Upon reading this, the Fashion Chef thinks of the perfect outfit solution; the perfect style recipe for this graduate. The style recipe is then given a fun and creative title that is symbolic of the actual food. Marvelous Marble Cake is the title applied to this recipe. The chef then invites the viewers to join her as she cooks up an outfit recipe that will be perfect for any fashion-related job interview. The same way that an actual food chef demonstrates how to prepare a meal Sophia shows viewers how to build an outfit. The ingredients needed to make this fashion recipe are presented in order.

The kitchen is used as a closet and dresses are pulled from the refrigerator while outerwear is pulled out of the oven and so on. The ingredients are then all placed into a large pot and are stirred to ensure proper mixing before a model with an identical figure to the writer walks onto the show dressed in the style recipe just created. The look is broken down one more time making it easier for viewers to replicate the looks on their own.
